Miami is the busiest cruise port in the world, with dozens of cruises departing and arriving each week. The port, accordingly, offers plenty of secure parking at its on-site parking garages and open parking lots. The parking facility also offers a complimentary shuttle service to your cruise terminal. But these spaces come at a hefty price: $22 a night as of 2019. All PortMiami garages and Lot E accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or any major U.S. Traveler’s Check. However, No debit cards are accepted but, credit cards are welcomed.

You can find better prices at the several parking lot facilities in proximity to the port to help you save money.  

Premier Cruise Parking

Premier Cruise Parking is located about a 10-minute drive from Port of Miami and offers i a very nice indoor parking garage and rooftop parking along with a free shuttle for up to four passengers per car. The cost is about $10 a day, and you can reserve a spot online with a deposit and pay the rest in cash when you park. We have used this service several times and would recommend it.

Best Cruise Parking

Best Cruise Parking also offers a free shuttle service for up to four people to the port and can be booked online for your cruise. You can self-park your vehicle at the lot, which is located less than two miles from the port. Prices are in the $9 per day range and fluctuate a bit based on the time of year when you are cruising

Miami Parking Lots offers parking facilities at four gated and secure locations within a 12-minute drive to your cruise terminal. Prices start at $8 per day and include a shuttle ride for up to four people (extra riders $5 each).

The ‘Cruise Capital’ of the World

Port Miami is known as the ‘Cruise Capital’ of the World. The cruise terminal offers cruises from the following cruise lines who home port ships in Port Miami.

With so many cruise lines homeporting here you cruisers have a great selection of different cruise lines and cruise ships to choose from. Many of their cruise lines homeport their newest cruise ships in Port Miami.

This port is located about 10 minutes or 8 miles away Miami International Airport (MIA). You can easily find Taxi’s, Rideshares or a shuttle bus as needed. The convivence of the close proximity between the airport and cruise port can be very.  

Port Everglades Parking

This cruise port in Fort Lauderdale is almost as busy as the one in Miami, and it also has convenient and secure parking garage facilities right at the port. Passengers can use the Northport Parking Garage, Midport Parking Garage or Midport Surface lot. All three spots cost $15 a day and offer shuttle service for up to four people (additional riders pay $8 each). 

Lower-cost options exist with parking companies fairly close to the port. 

Gold Coast Cruise and Fly Parking features valet and shuttle service at its lot, which is located 10 minutes from Port Everglades. The cost is about $11 a day, and you can book online.  

The Rodeway Inn and Suites hotel offers parking and shuttle service less than two miles from the port with no overnight stay required. Rates are about $10 a day depending on cruise season. 

Quick ParkPark 24/7Park Safe Cruise, and Park By the Ports all offer cruise parking and shuttle service for $10 a day or less and within a 15-minute drive to your ship.

Port Canaveral Parking

This cruise facility serves the Orlando and Cocoa Beach areas in Florida. And like the other ports in Florida, Port Canaveral ranks as one of the busiest in the world. Accordingly, parking at port in the designated areas comes with higher prices. Port Canaveral parking costs $17 a day, and you walk a short distance to your ship.  

Off-site parking companies offer lower prices and shuttle services. We’ve found a few good options to consider to help you save money.

Go Port Canaveral

Go Port Canaveral offers a great deal, especially for longer sailings. The company has parking rates of $9.95 per person for its shuttle service, but the parking space is free. Reserve early as the 150-vehicle lot (6 miles from the port) sells out quickly. 

Park Port Canaveral

Park Port Canaveral is $11 a day with a prepaid reservation. The fenced and secured facility is three miles from the port and features a free shuttle service.

Another option is checking nearby hotels that may offer Park-and-Cruise packages. These packages often include a nights stay, breakfast, shuttle service to and from the cruise terminal and parking during your cruise. These packages normally are a great overall value.

The Port Canaveral cruise terminal offers cruises from Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruise Line, Disney Cruise Line and MSC Cruises.

Airport & Walt Disney World Located Nearby

This port is located about 1 hour or 60 miles away from both Walt Disney World and the Orlando International Airport (MCO). Both have many shuttle buses and rideshare opportunities if you are visiting the port from these locations.

The port facility offers ample, secure and hassle-free parking on-site. The cruise facility parking structure is part of Channelside Bay Plaza right across the street from the piers. The plaza features shopping dining and entertainment options. The price is $15 a day for parking at the port (promotional rates offered), and port passes can be purchased online. 

Parktologists

Parktologists offers discount cruise parking and shuttle service. The secure lots are located a half mile from the piers, and prices range about $10 a day after taxes and fees. This option and others can help you save money.

Park 4 Cruise

You can buy parking passes online for the Park 4 Cruise lots. Prices range between $6 and $9 a day for the two lots, each located less than a half-mile away from your ship. Shuttle service is included in the rate.
