Have you heard? Azamara Club Cruises recently earned several accolades among USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, including first place for “Best Boutique Cruise Line.” In addition, all three Azamara ships ranked in the top five for the category of “Best Small Ship.”
“We are very proud of winning “Best Boutique Cruise Line” and achieving placement in three other categories on the highly acclaimed USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards,” commented Larry Pimentel, President and CEO of Azamara Club Cruises. “Since 2010, we have been providing our guests authentic service with our award-winning boutique-style cruising and the ability to experience unparalleled destinations and local culture through our Destination Immersion program.”
The nomination process for the awards began with the publication’s travel experts, who select the top 20 nominees in contests covering cruises, food, lodging, destinations, travel gear, among more. Following, it’s up to the readers to make the final decision by casting their vote. Achieving this type of recognition from one of the top leaders in consumer travel underscores Azamara’s ability to exceed guests’ expectations, delivering immersive experiences for travelers both onboard and on land. USA Today awarded Azamara Club Cruises due to their focus on Destination Immersion ® – allowing passengers to stay longer in ports of call to experience the nightlife of Stockholm or enjoy an all-day expedition into the Costa Rican rainforest. Onboard, guests can experience a boutique hotel at sea with inclusive amenities such as gratuities, beverages, AzAmazing Evenings; and dedicated offerings to ensure a seamless experience, including shuttle service to and from port communities.
City Stays Program
As part of Destination Immersion®, Azamara Club Cruises has launched the City Stays program – in collaboration with Cox & Kings, the world’s leading luxury tour operator. City Stays programs are available before and after sailings and offer curated travel experiences with emphasis on local connections, allowing Azamara guests additional time to explore the iconic arrival or departure ports.
“we’re thrilled to partner with Azamara on the new City Stays program. We’ve customized some truly special experiences in some of the world’s greatest cities and look forward to showcasing these to Azamara guests.” said Cox & Kings’ President Patrick Richards.
The City Stays program includes accommodations for three or more nights, select meals, and transportation services from the port to the hotel, as well as a prearranged transfer from the airport. Highlights from the new City Stays, available before and after select Azamara Club Cruises’ voyages, include:
